    1. It Has Been an Honor

Greetings Commanders, It's with great sadness that I'm letting you know that I will be departing my position as a member of the Community Team on Aion: Legions of War. While I've greatly enjoyed my time with you all, and been very proud to be part of this amazing game, sometimes opportunities arise which lead us in new directions. I know that EMPulse will continue to keep a close eye on your feedback, and the team will be adding another member of the Community team to make sure your opinions are heard. Thank you for everything, Ocho P.S. Make sure to keep an eye out on all our channels for the latest news, I know the team has some exciting upcoming announcements you'll want to hear about! 2. Greetings Commanders! Due to a platform maintenance, game logins and real money in-app purchases will be unavailable from 4am to approximately 6am (Pacific Time) this Wednesday 4/24. We apologize for any inconvenience.
    3. Greetings Commanders, Mez in Aion: Legions of War is a very powerful ability, but after a thorough review of how Mez effects as they are currently implemented are used, we feel that there is room for improvement. With the way Mez currently functions in game, there are substantial issues on both Offense and Defense in Arena that can be improved. On Offense, a well timed Mez can be devastating to the opposing team, but if successful, it leaves a single damage immune enemy for 30 seconds rather than allowing the fight to conclude. On Defense, Mez has no other counter than having the correct Hero in the team with a counter ability. With our proposed changes, a Defensive Healer can attempt to keep the Mez’d character in the fight. To solve these issues we are proposing the following changes: 1. Stasis, Charm, Chain, and Confuse which were previously set as “cannot be attacked” are changed to “can be attacked”: • Remove cannot recover SP • Add reduce damage taken • Add increase recovery taken 2. Change Mez effects of Freeze, Terror, Morph, and Sleep, which were previously set as “remove when attacked”: • Remove cannot recover SP • Add increase damage taken • Add reduce recovery taken 3. Remove additional aftereffect activated when Mez is removed (All Mez) Freeze Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, can be attacked, remove when attacked Aftereffect: Frost when removed Frost: Increase PHY damage taken by 20%, increase MAG damage taken by 20%, decrease MOV speed by 20% After Improvement: Immobilize, Increase damage taken by 50%, remove when attacked, cannot recover SP for 16 seconds when removed by being attacked Stasis Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, cannot be attacked Aftereffect: Decrease DP by 10% when removed After Improvement: Immobilize, increase recovery taken by 100%, decrease damage taken by 20% Terror Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, can be attacked, remove when attacked Aftereffect: 30% chance to transfer Terror when removed After Improvement: Immobilize, increase damage taken by 80%, remove when attacked, cannot recover SP for 12 seconds when removed by being attacked Charm Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, cannot be attacked Aftereffect: Punish when attacked Punish: Increase PHY damage taken by 20%, increase MAG damage taken by 20%, Focus Attack After Improvement: Immobilize, increase recovery taken by 30%, decrease damage taken by 50% Morph Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, can be attacked, remove when attacked Aftereffect: Infect when removed Infect: Deals 400% MAG damage over time, decreases MAG DEF by 30% After Improvement: Immobilize, increase damage taken by 20%, cannot recover SP for 20 seconds when removed by being attacked, remove when attacked Chain Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, cannot be attacked Aftereffect: Impair when removed Impair: Decreases max HP by 10%, cannot be removed After Improvement: Immobilize, increase recovery taken by 50%, decrease damage taken by 40% Sleep Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, can be attacked, remove when attacked Aftereffect: Night Terror when removed Night Terror: All attacks miss 2 times, 100% chance to be struck by a critical hit After Improvement: Immobilize, increase damage taken by 100%, remove when attacked, cannot recover SP for 8 seconds when removed by being attacked Confuse Before Improvement: immobilize, cannot be treated, cannot recover SP, cannot be attacked Aftereffect: Silence when removed After Improvement: Immobilize, increase recovery taken by 100%, decrease damage taken by 60% These changes are not yet final. We want to get your feedback before we lock down the design. Thank you in advance for your constructive feedback!!

The team is actively investigating the issue with Guild Dungeons, and we'll have a fix as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!
    5. Good news, Commander. The Spring Shop & Currency Drop will be extended to 4/27 @ 22:00 UTC. This means the limits on the items will be reset, and you can continue to collect the event currency from Adventure & EXP corridors. Now you'll have more time to pick up those last items you wanted the most! We hope you enjoy this extension and have a great week! - The Aion: Legions of War Team

    9. Greetings Commanders, We are currently reviewing how the increased chances for Initial SP during Critical Results in Equipment Refine are impacting gameplay. We've heard a great deal of feedback on this topic and are looking to determine the best path moving forward. For the next week we have activated the Free Gear Removal event, to help you manage your equipment in the meantime. Thanks, The A:LoW Team
    10. Greedy devs once again

The current Secret Shop options are themed to the event, and these will change again next week.

    13. Final act 7 scene 31 (Apollo’s decision)

This is a text error we're working to get fixed. You'll need to purchase summonite from the honor shop to advance to the next stage. Thanks!
    14. Power throught event end reward not fair!

Thank you Salone for taking the time to come here and post, wall of text or no. : ) We certainly understand this opinion, and we debated about the correct course of action internally. If it had been rewarding 3 or 5x the intended amount, we might have leaned towards not correcting the bug and just letting the event be considerably more rewarding than planned. Unfortunately it was, in this case, rewarding 50x the correct amount of rewards. Leaving it in wasn't a good option, as basically every future event would seem much less rewarding and people would certainly be disappointed. The bug needed to be fixed because it was just too good. The people who got the enhanced reward before the fix went in had worked super hard, and some of them probably had worked even harder because they had heard the reward was better than displayed. If it was something truly game breaking, like they got every hero in the game, taking the reward away would have been a stronger consideration. In this case the reward was too much for the event but not enough in our opinion to justify taking it away from those who had worked so hard in the period of time before we got the issue addressed. So we split the difference and patched the bug but didn't pull the rewards. It's a hard thing, and no decision was going to be completely fair. But I hope you can understand a little better why we made the call we did. Thanks, Ocho
